Project SULAM: A Place Branding for Kampung Meriyu

Project SULAM: Place Branding on Kampung Meriyu

Our place branding project aimed to help the community of Kampung Meriyu with their brand identity. Our group, consisting of 10 members focused on the kuih muih and madu kelulut businesses, designing stickers for Kak Puteh, Kak Waniey, and Kak Ena, who respectively sell donuts, kuih bingkar bakar, and karipap. We also created menus and posters for the kuih muih, as well as social media posts and promotional videos to promote the businesses. For Md. Fikri, the chairman of madu kelulut, we designed stickers, social media posts, and promotional videos. Throughout this project, we also learned to manage our own social media.

Our team has completed the SULAM Place Branding Project for Kampung Meriyu Community and we're proud to have collaborated with other groups to create a Facebook page for the community. Check out more at Kampung Meriyu's page here: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100089147645931

For homemade kuih muih, our group designed stickers for Kak Puteh who sells donuts, Kak Waniey who sells kuih bingkar bakar, and Kak Ena who sells karipap.

Our group also designed menus for Kak Puteh's donut stall and Kak Ena's karipap stall as part of the place branding project.

Our group also designed posts for Facebook and creating promotional videos. In addition to promoting the businesses, our goal was to empower these entrepreneurs to take ownership of their brand and grow their business.

Our group designed stickers, as well as social media posts for Md. Fikri, the chairman of madu kelulut.

Throughout this place branding project for Kampung Meriyu, our group took on the challenge of managing our own social media to promote the village's kuih muih and madu kelulut.

Special thanks to my team members for their valuable contribution and collaboration throughout this project. It was a pleasure to work with you all!

Thank You
